The CC-216 is a professional quality, wireless assistive listening system which qualifies for ADA assistive listening requirements for installation in stadiums, auditoriums, theaters, and churches. The BST-25/216 transmitter is easy to install, and its balanced mic/line level XLR input makes it adaptable to any installation requirement. The CC-216 system operates in the 216 MHz band to minimize RF interference.
The BST-25/216 base station transmitter and the PR-216 personal receiver operate on standard channels 1-40 allowing for compatibility with other manufacturers' receivers. This system also operates on COMTEK's high fidelity channels 41-60. Special noise reduction circuitry produces a signal-to-noise ratio and a higher frequency response for increased speech clarity which maximizes the performance of hearing aids, Cochlear implants, and earphones.
The BST-25/216 base station transmitter may be used with an external antenna for permanent installation in a rack mount, or placed on a table top using the plug-in antenna on top of the transmitter for easy system set up. The BST-25/216 transmitter accepts both AC or 12 volt DC power. The PR-216 receiver may be used with headphones, direct audio input cords for use with hearing aids, cochlear implant processors, and with the NTC-102 neckloop for use with hearing aids using a "T" coil.
